A cinematic, mobile-first website for the scenic Colorado destination.
We led the destination website design, strategy, and development for the new GoBreck.com. GoBreck is one of the first travel and tourism websites to showcase video on all devices—including mobile. The new website features 50+ videos, 1000+ images, and 250+ reimagined pieces of content inspired by the beauty, nature, and adventure of Breckenridge. GoBreck is built for cutting-edge SEO optimization, using Accelerated Mobile Pages (AMP) and Structured Data throughout.
GoBreck.com was awarded Outstanding Travel Website by the 2018 WebAwards, and GoBreck’s mobile site received the Exemplary Work “Kudos” award by the CSS Design Awards.
GoBreck’s destination website design was built using a best-in-class, mobile-first strategy, including Scalable Vector Graphic (SVG) animation that offers a movie-like feel. Instead of using only horizontal images—which are cropped or small on mobile devices—the site uses custom vertical video and images.

Bold Typography and Custom Icons
The GoBreck.com design uses large-scale scenic imagery and bold typography (similar to our Webby award winning website for NYCgo.) The color palette is inspired by the Breckenridge landscape itself. Custom icons animate throughout the site via SVG animation.
We worked closely with the BTO’s team to restructure the site’s content, making it easy for visitors to find and discover relevant information. Related content is woven throughout the destination website design in inspirational, impactful ways. We also developed a personalized itinerary builder, letting visitors build their own content collection based on interest.
Built for SEO
We built cutting-edge SEO optimization into every piece of the website. This includes Accelerated Mobile Pages (AMP), Google Structured Data, SEO image optimization, precise H-tag structure, and code minimization. The work paid off—GoBreck organic traffic has increased by 40% since launch.
