Bellweather led the research, strategy, design, and development of Brooklyn Bridge Park's new website. We brought the Park's 85 acres to life through a custom-branded map, 1000+ images built to shine on mobile, and a docked toolbar placing the site's content at your fingertips.
The website mirrors the signage from the park for digital wayfinding, creating a seamless experience for visitors.
The signage and brand identity was designed by Open.
We worked directly with Brooklyn Bridge Park staff to re-envision the entire image library to shine on mobile. The vertical and square imagery mirrors the Park branding and signage, creating a seamless association between the Park’s digital and physical spaces.
The site looks and feels like an app: a bottom-docked toolbar puts content, today’s events, and the Park map at your fingertips.
The custom branded map leads with imagery and contextual information.
Real-time information like sunrise/sunset times, tides, and events are integrated throughout.
