Business Development Manager

We are seeking a Full-Time Business Development Manager to drive growth by identifying new business opportunities, developing strategies to expand our client base, and positioning Bellweather as the go-to agency for nonprofits, healthcare, and travel sectors. This role will focus on generating leads, crafting compelling proposals, and driving new client acquisition. You will work closely with our leadership team to shape the business development roadmap and ensure our growth objectives are met.

Your Responsibilities

Business Growth & Strategy: 

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities to grow our client base within the nonprofit, healthcare, and travel sectors.
  • Collaborate with leadership to shape business development strategies and prioritize efforts to meet revenue goals.
  • Stay informed on industry trends and competitor strategies, helping to position Bellweather as a forward-thinking leader in the market.
  • Create and execute social media strategies designed to attract new business, with a focus on reaching decision-makers in focus industries.
  • Forecast potential budgets to partners, shared quarterly.

Proposal Development & RFP Review: 

  • Review and respond to Requests for Proposals (RFPs), ensuring our submissions are competitive, accurate, and tailored to each client’s needs.
  • Lead the creation of compelling proposals that clearly communicate Bellweather’s unique offerings and value, while collaborating with leadership on crafting and delivering presentations and pitches.

CRM Management:

  • Maintain and update our Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system to ensure all leads, contacts, and client information are organized, up to date, and easily accessible.
  • Track and analyze business development activities and outcomes, providing regular updates on progress to leadership.

Networking & Meetings:

  • Attend interviews, interest meetings, and pitch presentations with potential clients to establish relationships and understand their specific needs.
  • Network to build relationships with decision-makers, attend relevant industry events, conferences, and client meetings to grow our presence.

Collaboration & Teamwork:

  • Partner with cross-functional teams, including strategy, digital, and creative departments, to collaborate on developing proposals, crafting pitches, and securing new business opportunities.
  • Contribute to internal growth by sharing insights, providing feedback, and being a resource for new ideas and initiatives.
Your Qualifications
  • Minimum of three years of experience in business development, sales, or account management, ideally at a creative or marketing agency.
  • Proven track record of securing and managing high-value client relationships, with a focus on nonprofits, healthcare, or related industries.
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to present and pitch ideas effectively.
  • Experience reviewing and responding to RFPs and developing detailed proposals and pitch presentations.
  • Ability to work in a remote environment, with strong organizational and self-management skills.
  • Experience working in fast-paced environments and managing multiple priorities at once.
  • A passion for understanding client challenges and delivering creative, impactful solutions

Annual salary will be $85,000-95,000 based on experience.
