Bellweather's founding partners, Emily Lessard and Louis Lee, provided the strategy, creative direction (drawn from the massive rebrand of NYC & Company), and website design for New York City's flagship website NYCgo.com, setting the new standard for travel websites. The results: the NYCgo website won the Webby for Best Travel Site and saw a 20% increase in organic traffic.

The new design integrates content, eCommerce, and advertising throughout 9,000+ pages. The site includes multiple partners including Booking.com, Ticketmaster, OpenTable, and Viator to offer visitors seamless eCommerce integration (our redesign included all eCommerce experiences, including an overhaul for the flagship NYC Restaurant Week). NYCgo is also mobile-first and video-first, featuring 100+ video backgrounds of NYC neighborhoods and events.

NYCgo created the template for many other destination websites, making video backgrounds, contextual mapping, and neighborhood-driven content a standard in the industry. In 2017, NYCgo.com won the Webby Award for Best Travel Website (besting Lonely Planet and Condé Nast Traveler) and it has been featured in 45+ press outlets (such as Forbes). Skift also included the NYCgo website in The 25 Best Tourism Websites in the World and HOW Design named it one of the Top 10 Sites for Designers.
