We are seeking an experienced, forward-thinking expert to become an integral part of our team as the Creative Director. In this role, you will be critical in shaping the strategic visual direction of our creative projects, ensuring they align with client objectives and market trends. We prioritize candidates in the Eastern Time Zone, recognizing the importance of synchronous collaboration for a seamless and connected team experience. Your Responsibilities

Ideate and Create: 

  • Oversee the creative process, aligning with the Strategy team to define the creative vision and leading the creative team in developing strategy-driven, innovative solutions. 
  • Stay abreast of industry trends to ensure Bellweather maintains a leading edge in creative innovation. 
  • Oversee development of creative pitches and deliver persuasive presentations of creative concepts and scaled deliverables.

Project Execution: 

  • Utilize a thorough understanding of media plans and scope of work to bring creative concepts to market effectively. 
  • Oversee the execution of projects, ensuring timely delivery within scope and budget constraints.

Team Management and Development: 

  • Provide leadership and mentorship to a team of graphic designers, photographers, videographers, and copywriters, fostering a collaborative, learning, and innovative work environment.
  • Oversee and manage recruitment and supervision of new staff, freelance support staff, including effort tracking and budget allocation.

Business Development: 

  • Participate in new business opportunities, contributing creative expertise to pitch presentations and client engagements.
Your Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design or related field; advanced degree preferred.
  • 5-7 years of experience in a creative agency, with at least 2-3 years in a leadership role (e.g., Art Director, Associate Creative Director, Creative Director).
  • Proven experience in scaling omni-channel media plans and integrated marketing campaigns.
  • Proven experience in directing photo and video production, from storyboarding to post-production.

Annual salary will be $110,000 – $120,000 based on experience.
