Design captivating creative assets for NYC Pride, maintaining a visual identity that allows for yearly refreshes.

Bellweather led the creative strategy and direction for NYC Pride from 2014–2016 and again in 2019 for WorldPride, spanning more than 40 different events yearly and hundreds of pieces of bespoke advertising.

The brand design includes the creative concept, photography direction, digital and print advertising, on-site signage, and publication design. Each year, we refreshed the visual identity by combining photography, custom illustrations, and handmade typography into unified and vibrant materials.

 

We worked closely with Bellweather to modernize the look and feel of NYC Pride. With this modernization of our image, we were able to increase attendance of NYC Pride for a new generation of LGBTQ individuals.
