New York City, NY (February 15, 2021) — Bellweather Agency is proud to announce that Gracelyn Woods has joined the senior leadership team as Chief Operating Officer. Woods’ decades-long experience leading and managing diverse teams and stakeholders will help Bellweather continue to deliver the pioneering work for travel, tourism, and government partners that the agency is known for. “One of Bellweather’s core values is to be inclusive, always. Gracelyn has spent years collaborating with thousands of professionals on high-profile productions. She understands that excellence comes from collaboration, which is an incredible asset to our clients and Bellweather’s culture,” says Bellweather Chief Creative Officer, Louis Lee.
Woods’ operations and leadership experience span almost two decades, most of which has been spent directing and producing multi-million dollar productions, from Lady Gaga in concert to the Sundance Film Festival. Most recently, she was Production Supervisor at the legendary Apollo Theater, where she supervised a union crew throughout pitch, pre-production, and strike of major concerts, plays, and corporate events. Her in-depth knowledge of facilitating collaboration and communication makes her an incredible asset to Bellweather’s clients. “I joined Bellweather because I was looking for an inclusive and creative team always looking to innovate. As a female minority, I am elated to join a company that is women- and minority-owned—a dream of mine since I first started working,” says Woods. “Plus, the idea of bringing experiences to people has been a passion of mine throughout the years. Being able to do that under the inclusive and extremely talented umbrella that is Bellweather is the perfect scenario for me.”
Woods will lead a cross-functional team located across Bellweather’s New York City, Philadelphia, and San Diego offices. “I’m looking forward to collaborating with our team and our clients, and I can’t wait to meet and celebrate with the travel industry at the Destination International’s Annual Conference in Baltimore this July. See you there!”
