Bellweather led the strategy, marketing, and creative for WorldPride NYC 2019 | Stonewall 50 campaign, creating a vibrant, international, multi-channel celebration of the Pride movement and the 50th anniversary of the Stonewall Uprising.
It’s the first WorldPride hosted in the United States, and the second North American WorldPride in the event’s nearly 20 year history. Bellweather created over 1,500+ graphics—including merchandise, official event tickets, and event branding for over 30+ events. We were also responsible for the Pride Guide magazine, leading editorial design for the 150+ page publication.
The campaign pairs vibrant, heart-stopping portraits of LGBTQIA+ leaders and luminaries photographed by Mamadi Doumbouya with iconic imagery from the past 50 years of NYC Pride. The resulting portraits project strength, inclusivity, and paint a picture of the movement today. Read more about the models.
